Creative Director
Katy grew up romping around in the woods of New Hampshire and torturing her younger brother until it was time to go off to film school at Fitchburg State University where she learned the power of small teams and the joy of hands-on work.
Her career blossomed in New York City where she touched every aspect of film production from assistant directing to gaffing before settling into a groove with video editing and motion design. While working for some of NYC’s premiere advertising agencies, she met Kevin Corcoran and a deep creative partnership was born.
In addition to their work in marketing and motion branding as Mild Manor Media, Katy and Kevin produce feature documentaries, focused on telling the untold stories of the small corners of New England.
Her love of storytelling, the fine arts and her stubbornly DIY attitude has led to many projects over the years, from portrait painting to jewelry making to toilet repairs. Her latest endeavor is learning to sew stuffed animals, with the hope of turning it into a side-hustle.

Executive Producer
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Kevin heard the call of rock and roll and went off to conquer the world. After going to undergrad at Loyola New Orleans and Columbia College Chicago, he headed to New York City, where he worked as a freelance video editor and motion designer for some of the world’s biggest ad agencies.
It was around this time he teamed up with the incomparable Katy Cecchetti, and together they set to work on their feature documentary ‘Strafford: Portrait of a Town’, a project that would eventually lead to the founding of Mild Manor Media here in Portland, ME.
Throughout the years he has played keys in a variety of types of bands, including country, blues, alternative and synth pop. He is currently working on his latest album, ‘Lovers Season’.
